Vendor Pricesheets
The Estimator’s Buddy Table Prices for both Insulation and Jacket will cover virtually any situation the Contractor is likely to encounter. All typical Piping coverings – Calcium Silicate, Mineral Wool, and Fiberglass – are included, for all sizes up to 50-inch OD. The user simply supplies their actual price for a prominent size of each Insulation Type used. We compare that price to our Table Prices to arrive at an adjustment factor, then apply that factor to derive prices for all other sizes of that Insulation Type.
Piping Jacket, and Flatwork – Cylindrical – Equipment Insulation are a far simpler matter: Material Specifications are strictly in Square Feet, and Table Prices are used verbatim.
As a service to our clients, we also provide several contemporary Vendor Material Pricesheets for their use. These tables reflect Retail prices. Most Contractors receive a Discount Percentage based on volume. This Discount Rate is maintained in the Project Form.

We extend a similar offer to any Buddy user: We will incorporate your Vendor Prices into your own private Materials Database, for the sum of $499 U.S. per table. Care should be taken in reviewing these Tables, as some fields normally used to represent a Price instead contain a Size which is used as a reference in other Tables. Extensive Validation is performed, to assure availability for a given application.
